Enchanting Quest SOD — SoD

Enchanting Quest SOD is a medium-sized Heroes of Might and Magic III map on a 72 by 72 grid, played on the underground level as well as the surface. It supports four players, all of whom can be human, split into two teams, with each side's faction chosen at random. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is mostly rough ground and grass, with about a tenth of the map covered by water. The map holds eight towns and four starting heroes, along with wandering monsters such as Halflings, Faerie Dragons, Pixies, Energy Elementals, Phoenixes, Azure Dragons, and Dendroid Guards. Placed artifacts include the Boots of Speed, the Angel Wings, and the Shackles of War, and the map also contains mines, seer huts, and creature banks. The author's note stresses equal chances for every hero.
