{Dwarf King} — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Dwarf King map is a medium 72 by 72 underground level for Shadow of Death, set at Impossible difficulty. Its story, as the description renders it, follows a kingdom that has been calm for a decade until the king dreams that demons have robbed the ancestral caves that his sons were guarding. Four players take part across three teams, but only one seat is human, since Blue, Tan and Green are computer-controlled. Red, Blue and Tan play Inferno and Green plays Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Subterranean ground, water and lava cover most of the map. Notable finds include the Grail, several endless gold sources, and about 31 Dwarf stacks wandering the terrain.
