DreamLand is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for one human player against seven computer-controlled colors and set on the Expert difficulty. The author's description frames the goal as tracking down a Dragon Lord whose black armies grow stronger over time. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and the player loses if a specific hero falls. Seven factions are in play, one per color: Dungeon, Tower, Rampart, Castle, Necropolis, Stronghold and Fortress, with no teams. Water covers about a third of the land, with grass, rock and lava making up the rest. The map holds 48 towns, 137 mines and 26 monoliths and portals, plus the Grail, several named artifacts and wandering dragons and elementals roaming the terrain.
