Dragon World — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dragon World is an extra large, six-player underground-capable map of 144 by 144 tiles, rated hard and built for the Shadow of Death expansion. Up to five humans can take part, with the Purple player left to the computer, and every side plays alone since no teams are set. Rampart and Dungeon are the factions in use, split between Red, Tan, Orange and Purple for Rampart and Blue and Green for Dungeon. Rock covers roughly half the terrain, with water around a quarter and grass a smaller share. Winning requires acquiring a particular artifact, while a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. Dragon creatures feature prominently, including Crystal Dragons and Azure Dragons among the wandering stacks, and the Grail is placed on the map.
