Eight players, all of whom can be human, compete in four teams, and each color starts with one of the eight towns, from Castle to Conflux. The author describes a struggle between rival coalitions for control of a major transport hub guarded by an alliance of dragons. Grass, lava, and water cover much of the surface. The map holds 24 towns, 100 mines, and 50 monoliths and portals, and dragon stacks, Enchanters, and Peasants roam the land. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose when they have no towns or heroes left.
