Dragon War — AB

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Dragon War is a small, hard, single-player-oriented underground map for Armageddon's Blade, set on a 36 by 36 tile battlefield with an underground level. Two players are placed, one human and one computer-controlled, with no teams. The human side plays Rampart and the computer side plays Dungeon, and the computer's color is Orange. Victory requires flagging every creature dwelling, while a loss occurs if a specific hero is lost. The author's notes describe a race to find a hidden dragon paradise beneath the surface, where dragons can be recruited, and a warning that losing the designated hero or arriving after the rival ends the game. Rock, rough ground, and grass make up most of the terrain, with some subterranean ground, and the map holds two towns, twelve mines, eight monoliths and portals, and dwellings for eight dragon and hydra types.

Author's description

Resson Valley is the home to the rampart town of Mallor. Secvar Valley is the home to the dengeon town of Rels. Rels has built a secret army to attack Mallor. You need to find the underground Dragon Paradise and recruit dragons to your army. If you lose Dranok or get there after Rels, you will lose.
