Dragon Queen is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, rated hard, for six players with no teams and no computer-only colors, so all six seats can be human. Each player begins with a different town: Castle, Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, Dungeon, and Necropolis. Victory comes from gathering creatures, and the target is two Rust Dragons, with the author's note pointing toward also acquiring Mutare the Dragon Queen. A player loses if the 336-day limit runs out. Rock covers about a quarter of the ground and water about a fifth, with dirt and grass making up much of the rest. Scattered across the level are nine towns, seventeen heroes, fifty-two mines, and many guarded creature banks, along with a number of named artifacts, a large set of random ones, and fourteen monoliths and portals.
