Dragon Orb — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dragon Orb is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles, played on normal difficulty for up to four players, with two of those seats open to humans and the other two left to the computer. There are no teams. Rampart, Tower, and two Dungeon players share the realm, and the map is mostly rock and dirt with patches of subterranean and sand ground. Victory comes from acquiring a specific artifact, the Sphere of Permanence, or from defeating every other lord, while losing all towns and heroes ends a player's game. Dragon forces roam the land, including several Green and Red Dragons, Black Dragons, and a Ghost Dragon, and the map holds a Grail, numerous mines, and a large number of placed artifacts.
