Dragon Crossing(Allies) — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dragon Crossing (Allies) is a medium-sized underground map of 72 by 72 tiles, rated hard, for four players who can all be human, grouped into two teams. Each player starts with a random faction, and the rock, grass, sand and water terrains make up most of the surface. The author describes enemies stationed close to each player, with the direct routes guarded by Gold Dragons, so the choice lies between defeating those dragons or using the teleports outside each kingdom. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds eight towns, thirty-three mines, eighty random monster stacks, a Greater Gnoll's Flail, fifteen random artifacts, and wandering Black Dragon and Gnoll Marauder stacks alongside the Gold Dragon.
