Dracula 1 — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dracula 1 is an Extra Large, 144 by 144 map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Normal difficulty. Seven players share the field, but only one can be human, and the other six are computer-controlled with no teams. The factions include Fortress, Rampart, Necropolis and Inferno. The author's note describes neighbors who invaded Dracula's lands and wiped out his local vampires, and he swears revenge. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero. Terrain is mostly rock, lava, subterranean ground and dirt, with no water. Notable features include 17 towns, 21 placed heroes, 76 mines, a few dwellings with strong creatures such as Pit Fiends and Green Dragons, and artifacts like the Endless Sack of Gold, along with many creature banks.
