Die Irrfahrten des Odysseus — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This underground map follows Odysseus after the fall of Troy, when a sea storm scattered his fleet and he must find his way home to Ithaca. The 144 by 144 field is set to expert difficulty and holds eight players, with one human seat and seven computer-only colors. There are no teams. Red plays Castle, Tan Rampart, Green Fortress, Orange Dungeon, Purple Stronghold, Teal Inferno and Pink Tower, while Blue is random. Rock makes up 36 percent of the terrain, water 30 percent, lava 13 percent and sand 11 percent. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses if a specific hero falls. Notable finds include the Grail, the Sword of Judgement, Shackles of War and Equestrian's Gloves, plus 138 random monster stacks.
