Die Hard is an extra large 144 by 144 map for In the Wake of Gods, with an underground level and an Impossible difficulty setting. Seven players share the field, but only one can be human, and the other six are computer-controlled. The players form two teams. Factions include Rampart, Tower, Fortress, Castle, Dungeon and Stronghold, with several players starting as Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly grass, with patches of snow and swamp. Notable features include 37 towns, 63 mines, and a Grail placed somewhere on the map. Wandering Stone Golems are especially common, and the map also holds 36 monoliths and portals, nine timed events, and 46 quest guards.
