Eight players each control a different town type, from Castle to Fortress, and all eight slots can be human. No teams are set. The author's note simply urges players to eliminate everyone else. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero. Water covers 19 percent of the terrain and rock 35 percent. Expect 24 towns, 11 starting heroes, 12 stacks of Azure Dragons roaming the map, and the Grail. Artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and Titan's Gladius are scattered about, alongside 79 mines and 44 creature banks.
