The Onslaught of the Undead Horde is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with underground levels and an Expert difficulty setting. Eight players share the field, up to seven of them human, and the Pink player is computer-only. There are no teams. Red, Blue and Tan each list all eight towns, Green and Orange are random, and Purple, Teal and Pink start with fixed factions such as Dungeon, Inferno and Necropolis. Rock covers about a third of the land, with water at 21 percent and lava at 14 percent. Wandering stacks include ten zombie groups and four each of Bone Dragons and Titans, and Armageddon's Blade and the Titan's Gladius are among the placed artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
