Deceptions of Good (updated) is a medium 72 by 72 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and an Expert difficulty rating. Three colors take part, Red and Blue with random factions and a computer-only Purple playing as Tower, and up to two human players can join. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map's description says the Devils have taken over the world and the player must win it back, while a rival faction pursues the same goal, and warns of a Wizard hidden deep underground. Terrain is mostly grass, rock, subterranean and dirt, with a little water. Notable features include the Grail, seven towns, eleven placed heroes, and many guarded artifacts such as Angel Wings and the Ogre's Club of Havoc.
