Death of a Hero — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Death of a Hero is a medium 72 by 72 underground map rated hard for Restoration of Erathia. Its premise is that Vlandin Kul'Drannth, reported dead after being exiled to a small island in the Grais Sea, may instead be gathering an army for an attack. Four players take part, two of them human at most, with Red and Purple computer-controlled and split into two teams. Red plays Inferno, Purple plays Necropolis, and Green and Teal receive random factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds six towns, the Grail, a set of Legion artifacts, and several dragon dwellings, with wandering Water Elementals and Dragons across its rock, grass, and water.
