Dead Heroes' Tavern is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, rated hard, for four players, with only one human seat and two teams. The Castle player is the one who can be human, while the Inferno, Dungeon and Fortress players are controlled by the computer. The story begins after a devastating war has wiped out the human population of Yondzor. The lone surviving hero must defeat the corrupted forces and the beasts that roam the land, then rebuild civilization there. Rock covers about 42 percent of the terrain and water 28 percent. The map holds nine towns, 29 mines and a Grail, along with a Dragon Wing Tabard and wandering Black Dragons and Ancient Behemoths. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
