Dawn of Armageddon — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dawn of Armageddon is an Extra Large Armageddon's Blade map of 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, rated Hard. Eight players, all of them human-capable, compete in three teams, with each color fielding a different faction: Inferno, Tower, Dungeon, Fortress, Castle, Necropolis, Conflux and Rampart. The premise is that the world is ending, so players must join with allies to conquer everything and build a spaceship to escape. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when every town and hero is gone. Lava covers about a third of the terrain and water about 28 percent, with rock and grass making up much of the rest. The map holds 20 towns, 9 heroes, 143 mines and 15 artifacts from the Armageddon's Blade set, alongside wandering Hydras, Sharpshooters and Greater Basilisks.
