Crusade! is an Armageddon's Blade map set in the first millennium that retells the First Crusade, letting players either follow the historical course or rewrite it. The author describes three rival Christian factions, two Muslim ones, and an evil force seeking to destroy them all. The extra large 144 by 144 map includes an underground level and supports seven players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. Each player starts with one of the Inferno, Tower, Stronghold, Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, or Castle factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 43 percent of the terrain and water about 19 percent. Notable finds include a wandering Archangel and artifacts such as the Helm of Chaos and the Cards of Prophecy.
