Crumbling Empire is a Hard underground map for Restoration of Erathia, measuring 108 by 108. Its story centers on a kingdom with lax border guards, a prince wasting the treasury, and an aging ruler, making it ripe for invasion. Four players take part, with three teams and only one human player allowed, while the computer controls the Blue, Tan and Green colors. The factions are Castle, Fortress, Necropolis and Stronghold. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock, with grass, swamp and dirt, and there is no water. Fifteen towns, seven heroes, forty mines and eleven creature banks are spread across it, along with placed artifacts such as the Red Dragon Flame Tongue and the Endless Purse of Gold.
