Cocheria — RoE

Cocheria is a medium-sized underground-capable map of 72 by 72 tiles, rated hard, for one human player against four computer-controlled colors. The player's side, Red with Rampart, is grouped in a team with Blue (Tower) and Tan (Stronghold), while Green (Inferno) and Pink (random) form the opposing side. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and the player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The author's brief sends the hero against three strongholds, one to the south, one to the north, and one buried in underground caverns. The terrain is mostly rock, with water, grass and snow filling the rest. Notable features include a Grail, fifteen named artifacts, sixteen mines, and a number of wandering monsters such as Crusaders, Griffins and a Chaos Hydra.
