Eight colors take part, but only one seat is for a human player, and the other seven are computer-controlled. The colors form five teams. Seven colors can choose from all eight towns, while Tan's town is random. The author's note hints that rival players have joined forces against you, and victory requires defeating all enemies. Losing the game means losing one specific hero. The terrain is mostly grass, with rough ground and lava, and there is no water. Notable features include eight towns, eighteen quest guards, three creature banks, an Azure Dragon in a dwelling, and three artifacts: the Sword of Judgement, the Clover of Fortune, and the Blackshard of the Dead Knight.
