Campaign B is a medium-sized underground map for two players, each controlling one side, with no teams and no computer-only colors. It is set on a 72 by 72 grid with 42 percent water, and rock, grass and subterranean ground make up most of the rest. The author's note recommends six-minute turns and hints that tavern rumors offer clues. Both players start with random factions on Normal difficulty. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map holds eight towns and two starting heroes, along with wandering monsters such as Cyclops Kings, Storm Elementals and a Rust Dragon. Other highlights include a Sea Captain's Hat, 38 random artifacts, 18 mines and 35 monoliths and portals.
