Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large surface map, rated Hard, covers a 144 by 144 field where nearly half the tiles are water. Four players take part, with up to two controlled by humans and the Blue and Tan armies run by the computer. Players are split into two teams, and each side fields one of the Castle, Tower, Conflux or Rampart factions. The author's note asks players to choose a side and warns that only one team will end up dominating the lands. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 6 towns, 9 heroes, 24 mines and 49 random artifacts, plus placed relics such as the Clover of Fortune and the Pendant of Life. Wandering Imps, Minotaurs and Troglodytes roam the land, and dwellings house creatures like Naga and Rust Dragons.
