The Collapse is an extra large underground map on a 144 by 144 grid for Shadow of Death, set at normal difficulty for four players, with one human seat and two teams. The author describes a fallen great empire scattered with mines, abandoned cities and deserted temples, where warriors still roam the old lands. Some may be persuaded to join your army, while others have lost their human form, and only a few towns remain inhabited. The terrain is mostly swamp and sand with a little water. Twenty towns and 122 mines are spread across the map, guarded by wandering Dragon Flies, Basilisks and Ghost Dragons, and dwellings hold Bone, Crystal and Rust Dragons. Every player's faction is random. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and defeat comes when all of your towns and heroes are lost.
