Bound by Earth(1.1) — RoE

Bound by Earth is a medium two-player map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, with underground levels and an Impossible difficulty setting. Both players are human and compete without teams, each starting with a random faction. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock and grass, with subterranean areas, lava, and some water. Six towns sit within a landscape of 91 random monster stacks, plus four Titan stacks and a Black Dragon roaming the map. Other features include 20 mines, 14 creature banks, and placed artifacts such as Shackles of War and Recanter's Cloak. The author suggests that each kingdom can access a few powerful artifacts and hints that something deliberately missing from the map will shape the conflict.
