BOOGALOO 001 is a large 108 by 108 map with an underground level, set for seven players with four human seats at most, and Red, Tan and Pink reserved for computer control. The difficulty is set to Impossible, and there are no teams, so every player is on their own. Factions are assigned at random to all seven colors. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when they have no towns and no heroes left. Terrain is mostly rock, with water and grass each covering about a quarter of the surface. The map holds 18 towns and three starting heroes, along with wandering monsters, 61 mines, 31 creature banks, nine seer huts, and 50 monoliths and portals. Notable finds include the Grail, a Ballista, a Catapult and a Spell Book, plus 50 random artifacts. Five timed events are also scheduled.
