Bolesław Krzywousty — HotA 1.8.0
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Bolesław Krzywousty is a large 108 by 108 map for Horn of the Abyss 1.8 and later, set on a single surface level and rated Hard. Eight players take part in four teams, but only one seat is human, with the other seven controlled by the computer. The factions are Castle for Red, Tan and Pink, Necropolis for Blue, Stronghold for Green, Rampart for Orange, Dungeon for Purple and Fortress for Teal. Victory comes from flagging every creature dwelling, and the game is lost if the 224-day limit runs out. The land is mostly grass, with notable stretches of swamp and dirt and about five percent water. Players will find 27 towns, 109 mines, and dwellings offering creatures such as Medusas, Beholders and Gorgons. Artifacts are scattered across the map, and wandering monsters, including Green Dragons and Stormbirds, roam the land alongside timed events.
