Blackbeard's Secret — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Blackbeard's Secret is an extra large map of 144 by 144 tiles, played on the surface at Normal difficulty. Six players can take part, each human-controllable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The seats are Castle, Tower, Rampart, Dungeon, Stronghold and Fortress. Water covers just over half the map, with grass, swamp and snow making up most of the rest. The scenario is a standard victory that requires acquiring one specific artifact, while a player is eliminated once they lose all their towns and heroes. Nine towns are spread across the islands, and the map holds 29 mines, 20 seer huts, 15 creature banks and the Grail. Wandering elementals, griffins and efreets roam the land, and the artifacts placed around the map include the Dragon Scale Armor and Cape of Conjuring.
