Black Friday is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, built for six players with four human seats and two computer-only colors, Orange and Purple. Four teams compete, and the goal is to defeat every enemy. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The author describes a story in which the Warlocks push surface land up from the Underworld and cast a powerful new Darkness Spell across the country, leaving the human players to stop it. Rock and grass cover most of the terrain, with subterranean ground and some dirt, and water is only a sliver. Expect a dense spread of mines, creature banks, and timed events, plus the Grail, a few dragon and beholder dwellings, and several artifacts placed around the map. The difficulty is set to Expert.
