Battle Realm is a medium two-player map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, with an underground level and a Normal difficulty setting. Both players are human-controlled, there are no teams, and each side starts with a random faction. Rock covers close to half the terrain, with water making up about a third and sand the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The map holds two towns and three starting heroes, along with groups of Black and Green Dragons, Rocs, Gold Golems, and elemental stacks. Players will also find artifacts such as the Angel Wings, several spell tomes, and the Endless Bag of Gold, plus numerous mines, seer huts, and monoliths.
