Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Battle is a small Shadow of Death map on a 36 by 36 underground level, rated expert difficulty. Three players take part, with up to two controlled by humans, and the Red player is computer-only. There are no teams. Red plays Dungeon, Green plays Castle, and Orange plays Necropolis. Rock, grass, subterranean ground, and sand cover most of the map, with about 12 percent water. The author describes a bitter struggle in which the heroes fight until one of them rules a prize the author jokingly calls a little dog. Notable features include the Grail, many placed artifacts, 20 mines, 10 monoliths and portals, and wandering dragons among other strong stacks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
