Five players compete, all of whom can be human, with no fixed teams and random factions for every color. The author's description portrays a changed world where much has been lost because no one remains, and it divides the lands among immortal elves, dwarf lords, and men who craved power. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with grass, water, and rough ground making up the rest. Nine towns, thirteen heroes, and the Grail are placed across the map, along with artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and Dragon Scale Armor. A player wins by defeating all enemies and loses by losing all towns and heroes.
