Barbarian Crusade is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade, with an underground level and Expert difficulty. Six players take part, up to three of them human, and Red, Tan and Orange are computer-only. There are no teams. Each player has one faction: Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold, Castle, Rampart and Fortress. The author describes it as set in the western Mediterranean, where the goal is to conquer all the lands and defeat the strong barbarians. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock and grass cover most of the terrain, with water about 18 percent. The map contains 21 towns, 90 mines and several placed artifacts, including the Titan's Gladius and the Sword of Hellfire, and Minotaur King stacks roam the land.
