Barbarzyńska Krucjata — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Barbarian Crusade is a large two-player map of 108 by 108 tiles with an underground level, marked as Expert difficulty. The Polish title and the author's description suggest a forgotten world where two age-old enemies, a Stronghold player and a Necropolis player, contest a single Grail. Both seats are human and there are no teams. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, the Grail, to the castle Grailwant, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 31 percent of the map and water about 27 percent, with the rest mostly dirt and subterranean ground. Seven towns, three starting heroes, 34 mines, nine creature banks and two monoliths or portals are placed, along with many artifacts and dwellings such as Pit Fiends and Liches.
