Australian Outback — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Australian Outback is a large 108 by 108 scenario with an underground level, built for eight players who can all be human, with no teams. The author lets players choose a region to command, such as an Australian state, Papua New Guinea, Antarctica, or the underground tunnels, and begin by conquering Australia and its surroundings. Each color starts with its own faction, from Dungeon and Fortress to Necropolis and Rampart. Rock and water cover most of the terrain, with subterranean and snow areas as well. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Ten towns and heroes are placed, with 56 mines and an Admiral's Hat artifact.
