Audit (Allies) is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, rated Impossible, for up to eight players, two of them human. The two human-playable colors, Red and Blue, form a team and can choose from eight factions, including Castle, Rampart, Tower, Inferno, Dungeon, Stronghold, Fortress and Conflux. The other six colors are computer-only Necropolis players. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly dirt, grass and lava, with very little water. Twenty-two towns and two starting heroes are placed on the map, along with 24 mines, 60 creature banks, six quest guards and 40 random artifacts. Named artifacts such as the Shield of the Dwarven Lords and the Pendant of Holiness are also placed, and dwellings hold creatures ranging from Imps to Bone Dragons.
