Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing a specific hero. The map holds 21 towns, 122 mines, 71 creature banks, 13 monoliths and portals, and the Grail. Wandering Swordsman and Marksman stacks are especially common.

"HIGH-HAT" is a great wizard! He is the strongest and most powerful ruler on this land. But he is also the most stuck-up wizard in the world. A big high-hat. Many great and strong heroes are defending his wealthy kingdom. They might sacrifice their own life for him and his gold! But you??
