Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Attack on the Islands is a large Armageddon's Blade map of 108 by 108 tiles, played on an underground level at Normal difficulty. Eight players can all be human, divided into five teams, and the factions in play are Tower, Rampart, Dungeon and Inferno. Victory comes from capturing a specific town, and a player loses by losing all their towns and heroes. Despite the title, water covers only about seven percent of the map, with rock, subterranean, lava and snow terrain making up most of the rest. The map holds fourteen towns and four starting heroes, plus fifteen named artifacts such as the Speculum and the Pendant of Life, 55 random artifacts, 45 mines, 18 seer huts, 69 creature banks, and 20 monoliths and portals. The author describes it as a fairly rowdy brawl.
