Ascent of Chaos 4 — RoE

Ascent of Chaos 4 is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, made for Restoration of Erathia and rated hard. Its description presents it as a final showdown where the outcome decides whether the player rises to the heavens as a god or sinks into the depths as a Tanar'ri. Three players take part, with one human seat at most, and the Blue and Green players are computer controlled. Red plays Inferno, Blue plays Castle, and Green plays Rampart, grouped into two teams. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, while losing a specific hero means defeat. Water covers about 37 percent of the terrain. Nine towns and nine heroes are spread across the land, along with 43 mines, 87 random monster stacks, and 29 random artifacts, including Equestrian's Gloves.
