Art of Destruction is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death, measuring 144 by 144 tiles and rated Hard. Eight players can all be human, with no teams, and each starts with a different town, from Castle through Dungeon to Inferno. The story follows the heirs of a late king, whose will decides that the throne goes to whoever carries a particular artifact of wisdom across the map, beyond a river in the north. Victory requires transporting that artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about a third of the land and water about a fifth. The map holds 17 towns, 55 mines, 26 monoliths and portals, and the Grail, and Skeleton Warriors and Azure Dragons roam as wandering monsters.
