Archanges de l'Effroi — AB

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Archanges de l'Effroi, which roughly means "Archangels of Dread," is an Extra Large 144 by 144 scenario for Armageddon's Blade, with an underground level and an Expert rating. Three players take part, but only one can be human. The Blue and Tan colors are computer-controlled, and there are no teams. Red plays Rampart, Blue plays Castle, and Tan plays Necropolis. The story centers on the legendary hero Ordaenon, who investigates a kingdom shaken by unexplained revolts, including a suspected archangel rebellion, and tries to end the chaos. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and losing a specific hero means defeat. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with grass and water also prominent. The map contains 17 towns, 59 mines, the Grail, 21 timed events, and placed artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi.
