Necropolis, Inferno, Stronghold, Fortress, Tower, Dungeon, and Castle factions appear across the colors. King Graven must learn why the angels have vanished and obtain at least one, while evil overlords creep across the land. Victory comes by accumulating creatures, and the loss of a specific hero ends the game. Rock covers about 41 percent of the terrain. The map holds 25 towns, 111 mines, the Grail, 12 monoliths and portals, and wandering imps and giants.
