Angelic alliance is a large 108 by 108 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level, rated hard and designed for six players, with four human seats at most and the Teal and Pink colors reserved for the computer. Five teams compete, and the factions include Castle, Tower, Necropolis, Rampart and Dungeon. The author describes four island corners surrounding a strong final enemy hidden underground. Water covers about two thirds of the surface, with grass, lava and rough ground making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Ten towns and three pre-placed heroes start the game. Wandering monsters include Gold Dragons, Centaur Captains and Champions, while dwellings offer creatures ranging from Pikemen to Unicorns. Artifacts such as the Amulet of the Undertaker and Angel Wings are scattered across the map, and the Grail is present.
