Angel City is an extra large, expert-rated single-player map for Shadow of Death, measuring 144 by 144 with an underground level. Eight players share the map, but only one can be human, and the other seven are computer-controlled with no teams. The factions are Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Fortress, Necropolis, Stronghold, Tower, and Dungeon, one per player. To win, you must defeat every enemy. You lose if you have no towns and no heroes left. The land is mostly grass and subterranean ground, with swamp, snow, and a small share of water. Across the map sit 48 towns, 89 mines, 13 creature banks, 12 monoliths and portals, and the Grail. Wandering Black Dragons are the most common roaming stacks, and the start is meant to give you a head start.
