Ambition is a large underground-enabled map of 108 by 108 tiles, built for six human players and two computer-only colors, Teal and Pink, which both fight as Dungeon. The remaining six colors start with random factions. Eight players are present with no teams, and the difficulty is set to Expert. The author's note boils down to a simple aim: wipe out every neighbour before they wipe you out. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. Terrain is mostly subterranean, with dirt, water and snow covering the rest. The surface and underground hold 24 towns and 14 placed heroes, with wandering Infernal Troglodytes, Harpy Hags and Enchanters among the most common stacks. Fifteen named artifacts are placed, including the Titan's Gladius and the Power of the Dragon Father.
