Allies — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Allies is an extra large 144 by 144 map for Restoration of Erathia, spanning two levels including an underground level, played at Normal difficulty. Eight players compete in four teams, each controlling one of the eight factions from Castle to Inferno, and all eight slots can be human. The author describes a world thrown into chaos when the balance of nature is upset, leading to a broad war on many fronts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 42 percent of the terrain, with water around 23 percent and grass 11 percent. The map holds 23 towns, 78 mines, and 108 random monster stacks, and it includes the Grail along with placed artifacts such as the Titan's Cuirass and Crown of Dragontooth.
