AlexGame 3 — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
AlexGame 3 is an Extra Large map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, set for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and a Normal difficulty rating. Five colors are seated, up to three of them human-controlled, while Blue and Green are computer-only. The players are split into four teams and fight with Tower, Castle, and Fortress towns. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The land is mostly rock, grass, subterranean ground, and swamp, with no water. Notable finds include sixteen towns, nineteen seer huts, and named artifacts such as the Pendant of Death and the Hourglass of the Evil Hour. The author's description warns that the opponents are formidable and suggests that cleverness can beat brute strength.
