Afrika — RoE

Afrika is an extra large map for Restoration of Erathia, played on a 144 by 144 grid with an underground level. It is rated Impossible and supports eight players, with only one seat open to a human; the other seven are computer-controlled. Players are split into two teams. The lineup includes Stronghold, Inferno, Necropolis, Fortress, Castle, Dungeon and Tower, while the human seat is assigned a random faction. Terrain is mostly rock, with roughly a quarter water, along with sand and rough ground. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if a player loses all towns and heroes. The map holds ten towns, a number of golems and elementals roaming the land, and scattered dwellings, mines, and a few artifacts including endless gold sources and a random treasure set.
