adena's islands — RoE

Adena's Islands is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, built for four players, of whom only one can be human. The other three colors, Blue, Green, and Orange, are computer-controlled, and there are no teams. Red plays Tower, Blue plays Inferno, Green plays Fortress, and Orange plays Stronghold. Rock covers about 37 percent of the terrain and water about 18 percent. The author notes that boats are banned, so tunnels provide the routes to rival territories. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Highlights include the Grail, 62 random monster stacks, and 48 mines.
